My wonderful friend Meret has made me a a custom apron! Total surprise design but obviously she knows me well because there couldn’t be a more “me” apron in existence (outer space and David Bowie?!). Totally blown away unwrapping this art piece.
Going to be incredibly useful: it gets messy and wet spending hours in the kitchen making bone broth and coconut milk and frying meat and doing zillions of dishes! And it feels wonderful to have such love and support from my friends and family in this challenge. The only hard part is going to be getting myself to take it off when I leave the kitchen so I can actually enjoy the staying-clean-and-dry part of having an apron. I LOVE my apron!
